Phillistines Bakery & Sweets was born from a long journey of tradition and passion, rooted in a Palestinian household in Alberta with origins in Ein Karem, Jerusalem. Growing up, every family occasion was a celebration of heritage, marked by the traditional making of Kunafa, a beloved Palestinian dessert.

Inspired by our grandmother’s cherished recipes and the cultural significance of Kunafa, we realized it was time to bring the authentic taste of our heritage to Calgary. This passion for sweets and our deep connection to tradition gave rise to Phillistines Bakery & Sweets.
